Advancing knowledge and improving care
Dr Sim has an academic interest in the field of oral cancer, reconstruction with the use of computer assisted technology and 3D modelling in reconstruction of the jaws, and investigating the role of immunotherapy in management of head and neck cancer. He is an active reviewer for the Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
As a lecturer and speaker, Dr Sim has been a keynote and invited speaker both nationally and internationally. A summary of his publications and presentations are listed below.
Dr Sim is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, American Academy of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery, and a member of the Australian and New Zealand Head and Neck Cancer Society.
